Horniman Museum

Today we returned to Forest Hill in south London to check out the Horniman Museum's idiosyncratic collection of Victoriana.  Before hopping the tube, we enjoyed a very nice lunch at Dishoom, just off Kensington High Street, taking advantage of the current country-wide promotion called "Eat Out to Help Out", wherein many UK eateries offer a 50% discount to re-stimulate restaurant attendance.

A Watermelon Sharbat and a Rose & Cardamom Lassi!

Clockwise from top left:  Jackfruit Biryani, Black Daal,
Paneer Roll, Garlic Naan, Raita, and "Gunpowder" Potatoes.
Everything was excellent.

A Horniman curio...  "small grotesque head" from Japan.

  1. Food looks delicious.....restaurants different here as some add a corona tax and prices are higher for take out and large tips are stressed. Again, where would I ever see these spectacular pictures if not for your perfection of taking them.
