Yesterday we paid a visit to The Postal Museum. Located in Clerkenwell, it is devoted to all things Royal Mail. One of the museum's most unique features is the Mail Rail, which was the world's very first driverless electric railway. Opening in 1927, the narrow gauge underground railway operated for 76 years transporting mail between London's sorting offices. Our visit included a 15 minute ride on the original rail.
