Winchester

60 miles south-west of London lies beautiful Winchester, county town of Hampshire and home to the famous Winchester Cathedral.

The Great Hall, built for Henry III in 1222.
It is all that remains of Winchester Castle, one of the
first Norman castles in England.

The legendary King Arthur's fabled Round Table has hung
in the Great Hall for 700 years.  Some say Winchester was the
inspiration for Camelot.

Along the lovely Keats' Walk.
It is the daily route the poet John Keats followed during his stay
in Winchester.  It inspired his ode To Autumn.

Nearby is this shop which unsurprisingly features
Ms. Austen's books.
