Harrow-on-the-Hill

About 10 miles north of the London core lies the "frozen in time" village of Harrow-on-the-Hill.  The architecture is sublime with almost no incursion of anything shabby or modern.  The village is most notable for its prestigious Harrow School, whose alumni include Churchill, Nehru, Lord Byron, Benedict Cumberbatch, and James Blunt.

On the left is The Doll's House on the Hill, an old-timey tea shop.
We stopped in here for some fresh-baked scones!
