Bermondsey

The notorious 19th century slum that was the setting for Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, Bermondsey is today a thriving and trendy warehouse district on the south bank of the Thames in the vicinity of London Bridge Station.  It contains the tallest building in Western Europe, The Shard, completed in 2012.

What memories you will have when you come back ( how is travel from England going?) Happy July 4th...fireworks have been going off for weeks. People are calling the police dept as sound like bombs going off.
