Blenheim Palace, located on the edge of the Cotswolds in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, is considered one of Europe's most magnificent residences. From its original construction in 1705 to the present day it has been occupied by the Churchill family. Winston Churchill, UK Prime Minister (1940-45 and 1951-55), was born here in 1874.
