Celebrities!

Among the celebrities living in Kensington are Jimmy Page, founder of Led Zeppelin, who lives in "Tower House," a late Victorian townhouse.  The building has its own Wikipedia entry.

Next door to Jimmy Page lives Robbie Williams, former member of the band Take That.  He is not well known in the US, but in the UK he is a pop superstar.

This is the home of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.  It is rumored to have cost 31 million pounds and, as far as I can see, there doesn't appear to be a garage.

Benny Hill was a prominent figure in British culture for four decades.  His television show was one of the most-watched programs in the UK.

The first VW Bus I've seen in London.

It's not unusual to see vintage Fiats..

This bright red Fiat caught my attention.

Garages are rare in London.
It's not unusual to see Aston Martins parked in the street.

  1. How Interesting.....thanks for sharing. How far are you from these celebrities houses? It seems you can walk everyday and see different scenery. Is there a bus you can take or are you walking long distances? Glad you are sheltering in place but still having adventures.

  2. Busses and the underground are running, with limited service. We're not ready to jump on public transport. All photos are taken while walking thru the Royal Borough of Chelsea and Kensington.
