Myddleton House Gardens

Myddleton House, former residence of self-taught botanist Edward Bowles, is in Enfield, north London.  He devoted his life to developing the gardens here.

 

Borde Hill Garden

Located in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, this lovely garden covers over 200 acres.  The Tudor Borde Hill House dates from 1534.

 

Cliveden

This Italianate manor near Maidenhead in Buckinghamshire dates from the mid-1800's and was once the home of Nancy Astor, an American who moved to England in 1905 and became the 1st female MP (Member of Parliament) in 1919.
