Boat Ride to Canary Wharf from Westminster Pier

We rode the Uber Boat by Thames Clipper to Canary Wharf, a service which runs every day of the year except on Christmas and Boxing Day.

Fancy a ride on a cantilevered observation wheel?

The Queen's Private Garden in London

This beautiful park of some 40 acres directly behind Buckingham Palace is the Queen's private garden, where every summer she holds three garden parties.  Photography was prohibited except for one minute, at the conclusion of our tour. The back of the Palace presently has scaffolding, as you can see below. The small building on the far left houses a swimming pool.

Due to the pandemic, there were few people on the tour.

Spitalfields

Most of these photos are of Spitalfields, but there are a few of Soho, Camden and Piccadilly.
